Did the Academy made the right choice?

Personal Pick 1: American Beauty

Best Picture Of 1999

For me this is one of the best movie I've seen i can really identify myself with the main character even though I'm not in the same situation as him. Personally I was sold by the first few sentence in the movie where Lester narrate, i"m not going to spoil what he says but it got me hooked for the rest of the film and I enjoyed every bit of it

I saw this movie in school in one of my cinema class cause we had to analyse it and i was happily surprise. This film doesn't really follow boundaries and you never expect whats going to happen next and that's what makes it good and you just got to love Anton Chigurh (Javier Bardem) in this movie, those who saw it know what I'm talking about.

Slumdog Millionaire - Winner in 2008

''How come you knew all the answer''. This one sentence is stuck in my head forever. Loved the story and the way it was told this is the kind of movie that just makes you smile.

The Hurt Locker - Winner in 2009

OK, I admit it, I haven't seen this movie yet. Yeah I know shame on me, what I am waiting for, I don't know? But it definitely is on my list of movies to watch.
